The Kansas conferences are raising funds for Imagine No Malaria, an initiative of the United Methodist Church and its partners to eradicate the disease by 2015 on the continent of Africa. To generate some excitement about the cause, the steering committee planned a special event around basketball season. To provide one central location for making donations and for supplying planning resources, I purchased a domain name and created pages to explain the project and post the resources. The site is found at www.shootfornomalaria.net.
The site was built using a hosted WordPress installation we set up to assist churches with getting on the web.
