The decision to change databases should never be made lightly. Sometimes a move is unavoidable, like when your CRM upgrades to a new technology and it requires moving your data into the new system. Other times, the move makes sense because features of the new CRM provide efficiencies of scale that just aren’t available in your current tool.
Pandemic provides opportunity to communicate
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, the challenges were great. Immediately out of the gate, it was important to communicate clearly with residents, families, volunteers, employees, vendors, campus visitors, and media. From door signs to letters, and from newsletters to media statements, we chose to be as transparent as possible about our situation.
Rebranding 15 campuses offers challenges
In 2019, PMMA began a rebranding process after developing a new logo that would unify the senior living system’s brand and image. A rebranding process was initiated with PMMA’s marketing firm.
The challenges were great. The new mark had to reflect PMMA’s core values, mission, and beliefs. It needed to be simple, but sophisticated enough to convey the high quality of care and service found in PMMA communities. It also needed to be practical and demonstrate reliability and integrity.
